In winter, the air is dryer and tends to strip away the skin's hydration, that's why increased moisture and gentler products with natural ingredients are the main requirements. You may change your lotion to a cream, your powder foundation to a liquid one and swap your regular cleanser for a foaming or milk-based one (Shea Butter Cleansing Milk is one of our faves!). To boost efficacy and hydration, add an anti-aging serum to your routine, before the cream.

Take shorter, lukewarm showers and avoid very hot water as it compromises your skin's lipid layer. Finely ground oats added to your bathwater will make wonders to relieve and soften itchy or irritated skin. They can also constitute a gentle exfoliant, perfect for the winter months.
Last but not least, moisturize regularly, right after you wash, on slightly damp skin. According to the degree of dryness of your skin, you may choose Shea Butter Ultra Light Body Cream or Ultra Rich Body Cream.
