Sophisticated Home Cooking at La Closerie

The family restaurant created by Olivier and Delphine Alemany, La Closerie has made its home in Ansouis, where it offers fine cuisine in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

In the southern Luberon, the small hilltop village of Ansouis is home to the restaurant La Closerie, as excellent as it is friendly. After years working alongside great chefs, Olivier Alemany and his wife Delphine decided to open their own establishment.

Hailing from Carry-le-Rouet, the chef chose to settle in his native region. It was while walking in Ansouis that he fell under the spell of this historic village, and decided to settle there. Success was immediate. In 2013, La Closerie landed a first Michelin star.

If the chef serves only 25 covers, it is because he has chosen quality. He prepares seasonal produce, sourced from all over France. On the menu: calf's head with ravigote sauce, roasted wild partridge with truffle, or caramel French toast and frozen orange flower sabayon.

Refined but accessible dishes, whose flavor is exalted by the restaurant’s lovely setting. Nestled at the foot of the village’s medieval castle, the restaurant’s terrace overlooks the Durance plain and offers exceptional views over the Luberon Mountains. Foodies are welcomed in an intimate atmosphere, before enjoying the chef's dishes under the shade of the plane trees.
