At 25 rue Gubernatis, Gaël and Mickaël Tourteaux have been exploring distant shores on their menu since 2009. With sensory awakening and a rich mix of flavors as their driving themes, this duo from Nice have made of their fine-dining restaurant Flaveur, or “flavor,” a concept to be taken literally. Inside the designer space with its discreet charm, their dishes parade like so many culinary escapades, highlighting exotic flavors through regional specialties.

Galician beef, just roasted asparagus from Roques-Hautes, and monkfish from the small Port of Carras prepared tandoori style are just some of the delights imagined by the creative duo. Every dish is expertly executed with fresh produce sourced directly from small local producers and enjoyed accompanied by a large choice of delicious nectars, making for incomparable food and wine pairings.

This commitment to excellence earned these former disciples of chefs Alain Llorca, Michel del Burgo and Keisuke Matsushima a first Michelin star in 2011. Another string to their bow for these established maestros of world flavors.
